Was a typical older bar. Staff were nice and friendly. Crowd seemed to be more local types. Overall, was a nice stop for a drink to check out the oldest gay bar in Rome.

My friends and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the Hangar, the oldest gay bar in Rome. We were greeted by a very friendly American gentleman at the door. The guys at the coat-check and behind the bar were also very pleasant. The stripper show was enjoyable. If you like non-camp men and a no-fuss, traditional style gay bar, then... More

This is possibly the worst gay venue I have ever visited. One has to pay and register to get in but then you're confronted with a pre-Stonewall dump. The place is filthy, the music dreadful and the ambience lacking. The worst thing are the toilets. They are absolutely revolting. Please don't go to this place.

This place is awful . There is a 4 euro entrance fee that allows you into a small dark squalid club which is so out of date with the gay scene these days . The toilets are dark and dirty and are the worst I have ever seen this is not a place to visit exit needs a total clean... More

Its too bad the Hangar isn't open in the daytime. I was out walking and wanted a cold drink with a hot man and nothing was open for gay people to hang out with other gay people.

Friendly staff, Well made drinks and great place just to chill out at the end of the day! I liked their system of how the price of the drinks are determined! You need to check it out!

I was not expecting to watch porn in a bar! Full of old people which was very unconfortable! Its location was very hard to find even though we walked past it a few times. Its a big black door which looks like a normal house. Staff are old and they dont have a great choice of drinks. They seemed to... More
