We booked on-line for the Sef-guided access before hours tour with skip the line tickets. I paid €62 for myself and my son. This should have allowed us access to the Vatican museum to see the Sistine chapel and access to St Peter's Basilica without the need to queue. We entered the museum with a guide without a problem. However,... More

Early Access Skip Line Tickets allow to enter the Vatican Museums before they open to general public. Many guests choose this option to proceed directly to the Sistine Chapel to view it before the crowds arrive. Two exits lead out of the Sistine Chapel: the left side exit takes you back to the entrance to Vatican Museums via the Vatican... More

Our guide Nicole was extremely helpful - and very very knowledgeable. Any questions we had were answered clearly and concisely, and with a clear passion for the topic at hand. Our group was a small one (8 people), with skip the line access (very much worth it). Be prepared to walk a lot, however, it is entirely worth it!

To buy tickets go into square find Vatican post office. Buy tickets from there. Don't be fooled by Que jumping offers by con men every few yards, harassment, constantly by ticket offers, selfie sticks thrust in your face and beggars everywhere, watch out for pick pockets. Such a shame spoilt whole experience, why don't the police stop this

We woulld like to thank you for the superb tour of the Sistine Chapel and St Peters basilica we had on December 27. Your tour guide Andrea was brilliant, explained things in a simple manner and answered all the questions we had. He is an asset to your company.

We have been recommended by our friends who took the tour with this company and the experience exceeded our expectations. It goes without saying that you must visit Vatican with a good guide. We considered a private guide but finally decided to take a small group tour. We took the early morning tour, skipped the lines graciously with company's pass... More

We went there using metro, we stop at Ottaviano metro stop. After that we walked approximately 1km till the Vatican gates. On our way many agents approached as in order to issue a "skip the lines" ticket. We did it and it was the best thing that we did because we have to wait three hours for entrance only St.... More

Informative, well presented and well structured tour. Managed to give us a really good sense of a very large collection of art and historical buildings with just the right amount of information " There is so much to see inside the VM and the SC that you can easily miss the interesting bits and not see all of it. Our... More

We had ordered our tickets in advance of visiting Rome. We arrived at 9.30 by bus, which was fab because we walked straight into St. Peter's basilica without queuing. As I walked into this beautiful church the hairs on my neck stood up, stunning does not do it justice. Huge, colourful, fascinating and more. You could spend many hours in... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
