A classic fountain, but inspiring when you remember the tools available at the time it was constructed. Magnificent in scope and imagination. We had a private guide who explained all of the symbolism and representations. A must-see on any tour of Rome.

Wonderful fountain and a very cool piazza with nice bars, but again - every where you turn someone is trying to sell you a selfie stick or some other crap, and they won't leave you alone until you shout at them. Very disappointing seeing as...More

This fountain with its masterpiece is in the centre of Piazza Navona. Sit awhile and take in the splendor of this grand centrepiece created by Bernini.

Another gorgeous Bernini fountain that tells a story and represents the four continents with four major rivers. You can get very close to examine the art. It is simply beautiful.

Plenty of places to take it easy after walking around Rome. Amazing figures in the style of the Trevi fountain. Also plenty of seating around too.

So much detail in this very stunning masterpiece in a beautiful square. We were able to sit around on the railing, refilled our water bottles from special drinking fountains and enjoyed watching a bride and groom dance around the fountain.

A truly beautiful fountain the centre piece of the vibrant Piazaa Navona. Lively during the day but truly vibrant at night, with excellent (if over priced) restaurants. Lots of street selling, painters and performers. A great photo opportunity.
