Had several G&Ts while sitting outside in the beautiful bar, which has a view of the hotel's garden. Heaters were on since May can still be cool in the evenings. Drinks are well done, but cost 22 euros each. A pleasant variety of nibbles (little fish sliders, mini caprese salads, olives, chips and nuts) was provided, complimentary. A relaxing and... More

Location: 5 stars Drinks: 4 stars Prices: high Service: one star. I come here since five years. Every visit the same misery. Service busy with themselves. It takes ages to get the menu, to be privileged to get an order taken, to be served, to have a second order gracefully accepted, and to pay. I have spoken with managers, nothing... More

Luxes bar ! When you enter the hotel de Russie, you will be surprised by the atmosphere that reigns their. All people are well dressed, for a chic place it's a logical attitude. The bar man and the staff are very helpful.

OK-quality cocktails at correspondingly highest price. Come with several small bites, including mini-burgers. Quite fancy, but quality is not up to standard. Unfortunately, decoration is not up to the hotel quality - very cheap-looking fake Christmas trees. Close to beautiful piazza del popolo.

The coffees and the drinks are expensive BUT Stravinskij bar (which stands in a fantastic location near Piazza del Popolo and under of a fantastic park), will offer you some unforgetable moments of elegance and unique Italian atmosphere. the gardens behind Hotel de Russie (where this cafe-bar is located) will make you take many photos!....

Yes, the bar itself is cosy and its location steps away from piazza del Popolo is particularly lovely in summer when one can sit in the courtyard. But the service has declined over time and on this latest visit was not worthy of a luxury hotel. The waiters are clearly uninterested and unprofessional. My son was having a cocktail while... More

Arriving around 11pm on a lovely, clear Friday night in mid September, we had high hopes. Yes, there is a lovely courtyard; and the weather was spectacular. but that's about it. There was not a peep of music - where did we get the idea we could hear some smooth jazz in the background? Our waitress said they only have... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
