Great location next to the Tiber and Isla Tiberius. Not too pricey and plenty of great restaurants. Easy to access all the major sites from here. The riverside markets make for great evening strolls and dining.

Well, graffiti, horrendous planning decisions with dilapidated buildings just left to decay, McDonald's next to the Colisseum, homeless everywhere, soldiers out for covid and place is so big you miss all the warpaint spots you hear about and just roam the same old, same old streets. Manchester beats ir hands down. Overpriced pretty crap food and the little nibbles they put down with your drink cost the earth. Wouldn't go again. Try anywhere else in Italy.

Trastevere is the most traditional part of Rome. A fantastic place next to Isla Tiberina (also beautiful place!!) In Trastevere except from traditional italian cuisine restaurants, lovely bars and tratorias, you can find lovely old churches and picturesque areas for a drink or only a picture!!! We would definitely go back to Trastevere.

Better food, bars and service where the locals go. Tries the main tourist spots and enjoyed them, but then went here and the food was far superior and affordable.
