The fountains are wonderful, you cant stop looking at them. The surroundings of the piazza are amazing, the buildings, the shops. Also when i went there there was a really big fair with lots of games and a carousel, the combination of all this beauty and fun was amazing. The fair is perfect to go with kids, but anyone can... We have always been wary of hot tourist spots in Rome due to the immense crowds (particularly during the peak seasons), but the crowds usually thin out in the evening allowing for a much more intimate experience. We visited this piazza in the evening and found it very pleasant; we had the room to admire the fountains and watch the... More

We stayed quite close to this beautiful square in Rome so saw plenty of it. Good restaurants nearby too. Highly recommended to go there and just wander around, breathe in the city and atmosphere.

The piazza here is nice enough but probably better in the summer when more of the restaurants would be busy with people outside adding to the atmosphere. Very nice fountains but swarming with immigrants trying to sell you stuff all the time.

From the Trevi Fountain, to great gelato and local artists. Almost a carnival like atmosphere with the merry go round spinning and music playing. A delight for the eyes, ears, and stomach

When strolling Rome you find numerous plazas. These are wide open areas with shops, fountains, bakeries, etc. We spent many hours enjoying the outdoors in this location.

Piazza Navona is just one of many beautiful places to gather and enjoy a stroll. While there see the gorgeous St. Agnese.

Piazza Navona is a reference of the city: a place to gather, to go shopping, to eat, to spend time browsing the free market on weekends and Holidays. Beautiful and charming. Central to anything and easy go reach
