I am on this bus tour as I write this. Do not use green line tours for any reason. Our first bus broke down! The ear phones they provide or maybe its the system used for the narration doesn't work in half the seats. I...More
We got on this bus and had to move seats three times and still couldn't find audio that worked. This line doesn't have as many buses as the others and we always had to wait quite a long time at each stop. They told us...More
The dinner was great although it does not include drinks or any wine. The tour was so disorganized! The tour guide Mario, I could not understand a word he says and the whole time he is so disorganized, People were catching Taxis and leaving the...More
Fine for the money. €20 per person for the day which is cheaper than some of the other operators.
The buses were in need of repair. Ripped seats and no air conditioning inside even though it was 30 degrees.
Annoying 20 minute wait sitting on...More
We booked the evening Rome tour through Costco tours, not realizing that Green Line was going to be running it. They had an optional dinner after the tour, but we decided to do just the tour. Tour was supposed to start at 7:30, but the...More
We purchased a one day hop on, hop off bus pass while in Rome. We took the bus on the full circuit of the city, then jumped off at the Spanish Steps stop to check them out. We then walked over to the next stop...More
A complete farce. Lovely guy that accompanied us but bus service atrocious!! Would not recommend. At least 3 city hopper buses to each green line one, so unable to get on them as packed. Goodness know what they are like in high season!!
We always head for a city bus tour if there is one, high expectations of this one as it’s in Rome, a city full of things to see.
Purchased a 48 hour ticket so we could get on and off all weekend.

When I looked-up this company, I was not surprised to see the awful ratings for this company. Only wish I had know about their rating before we paid for the tour. With a couple hours to kill and at the recommendation of our hotel's front...More
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Good luck with that. They are not the best tour company and, I feel, not run efficiently. I was so unhappy with a tour that we complained to the owner of our hotel who uses the company for the tours that they offer. He was... More
Good luck with that. They are not the best tour company and, I feel, not run efficiently. I was so unhappy with a tour that we complained to the owner of our hotel who uses the company for the tours that they offer. He was the one who paid for my husband and I to do the green like hop on/hop off tour of Rome. The agency could have cared less if we weren't happy and wanted a refund. They stink.

Why am I not surprised? Green Line tours ranks near the bottom of more than 2500 Rome attractions. If only we had known they were the operation our hotel had sent us to. Almost like getting my pocket picked!
