It seems all the hop on hop off tours follow the same path and are about equal in price. If you opt for a hop on, hop off, journey on a hot day beware of the open top deck decks -- they can be extrememly...More

We were en route to book the red city sightseeing bus when a man stopped us wearing a 'free info' jacket and said he gave advice about both tours - the red bus and the green line bus. He made up every possible lie he...More

Very bad!!! As incredible as it can be, no a/c in the first floor of the bus!!! We were sitting on the second floor because the first was full but the sun was extreme so we decided to go down as soon as there were...More

This trip can be summarized by sitting on a bus for 8 hours, a ferry for 2 more, and a few hours on the island. Our guide on the bus, Mara was not rude, but was not what I would classify as friendly. She moved...More

Still on the bus. Would get off but we bought a two-day ticket. The commentaries do not line up with the locations, not very informative, and boring. Would use it as a bus but each stop is more than 5 minutes and in this heat,...More

The hotel we stayed at sold us this option as we wanted to Red Hop on Hop off bus company instead, which they didn't have information on. GLT is more more expensive €25 the other €23. GLT had limited buses and didn't go all night....More

I would not recommend this tour. The guide spoke English, French, Spanish and another guide spoke Japanese so there was no time for any stories or other info. If you had a map, you got all the info they provided ( on the right-A, on...More

We booked onto the Green Line Tours (GLT) day trip to Naples & Pompeii. Generally good value in a comfortable coach with a good and informative guide. They took us to a 'ristorante' for lunch in modern Pompeii before our 2 hour guided walk around...More

We booked this tour as it was recommended by the hotel. There were a couple of other bus companies available. They pick up every 10mins and you don't usually have to wait. However the audio was a bit hit and miss. You had to get...More

Merna (bus guide) was completely focused on her situations and had no focus on our enjoyment. She and the bus driver even had words in front of us. I did laugh (internally) a lot, as she and the tour just repeated the bad habits you'll...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot

Good luck with that. They are not the best tour company and, I feel, not run efficiently. I was so unhappy with a tour that we complained to the owner of our hotel who uses the company for the tours that they offer. He was... More

Why am I not surprised? Green Line tours ranks near the bottom of more than 2500 Rome attractions. If only we had known they were the operation our hotel had sent us to. Almost like getting my pocket picked!
