A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

We had the lunchtime tasting session which was to taste 4 different wines with italian meats and cheeses. It is run by a lady in her lovely apartment in the centre of room. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host and sat at her dining table which was laid out with delicious meats and cheeses. There were four other... More

My husband and I enjoyed Hande's wine lunch during our honeymoon in Rome. We spent time in Florence and loved a food and wine tour, and although Vino Roma offers the Rome Food Tour there were no available sessions when we were in town so we opted for the wine and cheese lunch. Next time we're in Rome, I hope... More

My husband and I participated in Hande's class on wine and cheese the last day of our trip. It was a highlight. As others have said, we tasted 4 wines - sparkling, white, red, and desert and tested the combinations of these wines with a variety of local cheese and meat products. Beyond the tasting adventure that this provided, Hande... More

Hanna was WONDERFUL! We did the wine and cheese tasting/class and discussed 4 classes of wine: white, red, sparkling and dessert and learned so much about wine AND food and also Italian culture. The food that was laid out for this tasting was incredible and married beautifully with the wine... which was one of her points! This experience was intimate... More

We attended the My Italians class on July 15. It was a great experience. Hande had picked a nice selection of interesting wines from different regions of Italy. In a relaxed and fun atmosphere, we learned about how and why wines differ depending on what region they are from, how to appreciate those differences, what type of food might go... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our wine and cheese lunch with Hande. We were a bit late because of jet lag, but were welcomed warmly and easily settled in. The group included 7 others from several parts of the world - all fun, generous, and relaxed. Hande is extremely knowledgable, kind, and professional. Take this opportunity, you will have... More

My wife and I attended the My Italians wine class on jul 7. The class was much more than we expected and was the highlight of our visit to Rome. Hande gave an excellent selection of Italian wines from north to south (3 reds, 3 whites), giving a thorough review of each wine. In addition, Hande also gave several excellent... More

My boyfriend and I attended the Wine and Cheese lunch during our recent visit to Rome. It was even better than expected. Our hostess was very warm and welcoming and obviously passionate about wine and what she does. The lunch was informational, fun, and above all delicious! Knowing only a little bit about wine previously, I found this to be... More

I decided to visit Rome for several weeks and decided that I really needed to learn more about the culture upon my arrival. Having no experience with wine and Italy being a major wine country, I decided to change this. I went to Vino Roma for a My Italians wine tasting and it was exactly what I was looking for.... More

I had booked the evening wines of Italy on the basis of reports on Trip Advisor. It certainly didn't disappoint. We were especially fortunate that there were only 4 of us that evening which permitted even more interaction. My wife and I tour wineries frequently and have a little knowledge. The other couple were novices. I believe that Hande's presentation... More
