Located within Piazza Benedetto Cairol, is this fairly simple fountain, (not a Bernini), however adds to the beauty of the square, which is frequented by locals and the odd inquisitive tourist. Worth a visit when in the area, plenty of seating for a rest.

This is a teeny piazza off to one side of the larger Piazza Venezia area, behind a little park which itself is behind a large bus stop area. Not much to see, but it has a pretty fountain.

The fountain was built in 1589 by Andrea Brasca, Pace Naldini and Pietreo Gucci. It was the design of Giacomo Della Porta, a simple and elegant fountain with different basins on two levels with a group of putti (nude chubby male boys) at the upper...More
