Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We saw it in the company of friends and we were literally fascinated by it.
The exterior is simple but at the same time enchanting and evocative, the greenery well cared for.
Inside it is splendor wherever you look.
And the ceiling is a real marvel!

Going up from the lower decumanus on the left there is the entrance to this baroque style church with stuccos, paintings and materials of inestimable value inside.
The remains of Saint Patrick are kept here and every Tuesday the ampoule of her blood and the tooth that gave rise to the miracle are on display. Furthermore, upon entering on the right there is the shrine with the skull of Sant'Aspreno, patron saint of Naples before San Gennaro. Beautiful, it deserves a little more care on the inside and a little more respect on the outside.

Beautiful church, open for free. It is absolutely worth paying a few euros to visit the large cloister, perfectly preserved and well maintained, an oasis of peace a stone's throw from the chaos of the street. Please note that hours are limited.

Facing the tumult of the nearby street dedicated to crèches, a small street on your right as you descend and a small door will lead you to this monastery. A little gem. The garden at that time is beautiful and full of orange trees. The church is very pretty but is not accessible in its entirety.

Amidst the noisy crowd of tourists, suddenly enter a paradise. The nuns are very friendly, giving mirrors to view the ceiling so as not to stand overhead. Admission of 7 euros , in our opinion justified . It's clean, well-kept.

The church of St GregoryArmeno is a worthwhile church to visit, but more important is the lovely courtyard or cloister with beautiful trees and statues. A striking contrast to the chaos outside. Do take time to visit.

Naples is chaos. This wonderful courtyard offers a display of flowers and cactae, and friendly nuns. Get their home made limoncello.

The Church of St. Gregory is abolsutely beautiful. You don't need a lot of time to walk in take a lap around the perimeter of the church and view the artistry with amazement. Just take note that photography is prohibited in many of the active churches in Naples .... And at this one, the nuns who police the church take the prohibition seriously: I watch them escort one person out.

I'm not the biggest fan of this overly ornate style, but this is a great example. Try to see the cloister and the stair also.
