Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are in Napoli, you absolutely must go for a walk, run or bike ride down the Lungomare! The views are just incredible and it's a great places take in the cities beauty. I loved going both in the morning to watch the sunrise and at night when the lights were shining. It's also just a great place to stop, take a seat and enjoy the moment.

This is the area along the seafront and a lot of it is one way traffic and not very congested. Really nice scenery and the sound of the boats and views to the sea. Recommended.

This is a nice promenade to walk along but not so much on offer when out of season when we were there. The view across the bay of Naples is exceptional and it is one of the nicer parts of Napoli. I can imagine that this is so much nicer in the summer when all the park is open and the bars and ice cream shops are open. Some things were still open and you could see that you could have a lot of fun with the kids as you can hire bikes and other fun modes of transport to go up and down the promenade. Further towards the castle there is a cash machine, more bars and restaurants and the Castel dell'Ovo is somewhere you must visit.

Promenade near the sea in Naples. In the crazy city like Naples, this is one of the quietest places in town

This harborside promenade stretches from Santa Lucia in the east to Posillipo in the west. It is a pleasant walk during the golden hours in the evening. The lighting on Castel dell'Ovo is wonderful.

The seaside walkway that leads to the cruise pier is nice for strolling after congestion in the crowded city center. It is more relaxing in having nice views on the seafront. You can take a cup of coffee in the cafe nearby, enter the castle, view the distant Capri or just take photos around.

Essential for doing the walk that skirts the coast from Santa Lucia to Mergellina. The views of the city and bay are breathtaking. The two ends of this long and imminently pleasant walk are marked by beautiful 17th century fountains

Wonderful for views of the sea and a stroll. There are places to stop for a drink or lunch or gelato. Some beach access, and of course the Castle. We walked to our hotel from the port. Great view of Vesuvius!

We had spent our first few hours ducking and diving in the backstreets of Naples in the Centro Storico and seriously needed something quiet to recuperate. Having been up since 3am a quiet strioll along the lungomare near Castel Nuovo was absolutely what was needed.
It’s beautiful and sunny and overlooks the bay with great sights of Vesuvius.
Definitely worth a stroll if you need a break from the backstreets and madness!

It is trully remarkable how full of contrasts Naples is. Just some 10 minutes walking from all the crowds in Spanish quarter and you find yourself on the wonderful sea promenade, where you can enjoy some relaxing stroll while enjoying fresh sea air.

What location at the Lungomare is a special lace for loves exchange vows of Love? Where is the stone bridge to swear an eternal Love?

Is "Lungomare" in Naples the name of this place, or just a general term for a passage along the sea? (I know that "lungomare" is Italian term for "along the sea")
We have Lungomare here in Opatija, and we were wondering if ours is the only one which is actually named that way ("Lungomare" with capital "L") and not just called as a general term ("lungomare" with lowercase "l").

Hello,
Yes it is in Naples. It’s basically Naples seafront/ promenade.
Thanks
