I participated in two courses of this academy, the lesson on seafood risottos with chef Lino Acunzo is highly recommended. The chef guided us step by step during the preparations with great professionalism, we had fun and the dishes were delicious!
However, I did not appreciate the course on land risottos that I followed in October, held by a different, much less professional chef.

Had a great time in this class. Small class size was superb and kitchen facilities were good. Chef Luigi was friendly, fun, helpful, patient, informative and spoke great English. Learnt how to make the dough and then made two types of pizzas, both really tasty and realistically possible to recreate at home which was the point of the class. Really enjoyed it. Thank you Toffini Academy and Chef Luigi!

Great experience also seasoned with fun. Chef Vincenzo Noviello, in addition to teaching us how to prepare dough (for scialatielli and gnocchi), talked about the history of cooking, how it has evolved and how cooking is evolving in the light of knowledge about chemistry. I took the Pasta class with my mom and we really enjoyed the class. The class invite says 12:30 to 14:00, however we went a little long to 15:00. The teacher is great at explaining the steps, excellent English, and they have everything prepared for you.

My 11-year-old daughter received as a birthday present a ParentsChildren course at the
Toffini Academy. A wonderful experience together and we cooked (and then ate) together with the other participants an exquisite squid risotto as well as a spectacular crumb!

I booked a pizza class for my husband and I in July. we paid an excessive price. the lesson was with more people than we thought. we couldn't hear everything the teacher was saying. we had bad communication before class, asking for details that we were not given. We thought we could enjoy more information about the dough, the tomato, the yeast. unfortunately for the money we spent we were totally disappointed

Antony, we read with great regret your review because it is the only negative and that it tells something untrue. Our pizza class is always loved by those who test it. In the course room of the largest cooking school in the center of Naples, enthusiasts and professionals meet every day who want to discover new techniques and notions on cooking. The pizza course offers participants an individual workstation equipped with equipment, tools and ingredients necessary for the realization of the recipes provided. It starts from the historical notes on the birth of pizza, details on the ingredients used and how to choose and prefer them, preparation of the pizza dough and then the creation and tasting of two pizzas: the classic pizza margherita and the stuffed fried pizza. At the end of the lesson, chef Luigi also prepares a third pizza for everyone, the montanara, which is traditionally used in Neapolitan aperitifs. Before leaving, a pantry is then released with the recipes complete with doses, procedures and ingredients to be able to repeat the pizza even at home, thus bringing a bit of Naples to the whole world through its iconic flavors. Wow! This was was a fabulous experience which I did with my partner and mother in law. We got to make 3 types of pizza (got given the recipes after, which we will definitely do at home)in an air con room with an experience chef who knew exactly what he was doing, checked on everyone and chatted happily. Make sure your hungry when you go so you can eat everything. As soon as we arrived we were given water and throughout the two hours had water too. I cannot fault this experience and would recommend everyone to do it. The pasta making course and evening course I would have loved to do as well but we only had three days. They even phoned a taxi for us for when we were finished. The pizza was the. Eat we ate in our twelve days in Italy.

I found a comfortable and clean environment. The kitchen with attention to every detail complete with everything you need. The exceptional chef!!! What can I say, I want to go back as soon as possible to have another culinary experience!!!

We ended up having a private class with Luigi and it was amazing! So much fun and some of the best pizza we had on holiday. Luigi was great at explaining the process and the history. The first pizza we made was one of the best I’d ever had and the tomato sauce was amazing. We really enjoyed the fried pizzas too! It was one of the highlights of our holiday! Would recommend to all! Now just need to recreate the pizzas at home!

Very clean kitchen, excellent, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent chef, very precise and very kind. Top quality products. Relaxing and familiar environment. I'll be back for another experience and I recommend everyone to go.
