The place is totally free, just bear the Via foria bus stop. Big and very variety of plants, they give you a map with zones to let you orientate around. Overall a nice 1/2 hours walk in the nature. Too bad some spots were closed...More

The garden itself is very pretty. Full of high standing trees, of different varieties. The grounds are quite large but there isn’t a lot of ‘beauty’ per say in the form of plants and flowers. It’s mainly large trees. There is an impressive selection of...More

Nice green place, just inside the city. Tree ferns, cacti, palm trees and a lot of interesting plant species. You can sit down and rest on benches, there are not "hundreds of people". Very different from "city". Relax?, piece?... need some fresh air? Yes... here.

Instituted in the early XIX century during French ruling of Naples, the garden opened in 1810, and it is part of the University Federico II of Naples. Engaged in the preservation of endangered plant species. It includes a 17th-century "castle," recently restored, and the large...More
