I just couldn't believe I had never heard of it before.
I was all alone in this extraordinary place and, believe me, I'm at a loss for words.
Just Google it and you'll see what I mean (and pictures don't do it justice...)

The overall impression of this lavishly decorated church is a brown and gold shimmer with beautiful marble. The glass chandeliers are beautiful. I also liked the big organ gallery.
I particularly liked the statues all along the steps going up to the altar
