We enjoyed the tour a lot. I came across this in the lonely planet book as one of the recommended activities for Napoli. There are over 200 underground sites, this one was primarily used as bomb shelter during WWII. The guide showed us many graffitis as well writing etched on the walls. Highly recommended.

Great tour! We got there the wrong time, (the website didn't say unfortunately) but were asked to come back one hour later. With our reservation and at the right time we didn't wait more than 2min to get in. Big thanks to LUCA who was excited and funny, even intriguing for the kids who didn't understand English, but at the same reminding us what tragic times these tunnels and bunkers have seen. Would recommend, great value (10€ for 1h tour)

The tour lasted 50 minutes. Of all the underground tours I have taken in my life it was the most boring one, except for the narrow passage like a slot canyon, but it didn’t have to offer much else.

They did NOT require a green pass, although there is only one opening for air in narrow unventilated spaces, this is highly unsafe. When a young woman decided to wear her mask under the nose I politely asked her to cover her nose, too. When she would not comply I went to the guide Luca to please help. Instead of thanking me for pointing that out and instead of telling the lady to put the mask over her nose, he scolded me and said he was in charge of the tour, it was his responsibility - sorry, but MY HEALTH - and if I didn’t like it I should return to the entrance. WTF!
It seems in this place machismo is more important than health for the visitors.

The tour was fascinating - I had no idea previously about the underground cistern system and I learned a lot. At the beginning of the tour you go down a 40m staircase to a big cave with chairs in, where you learn about the system from its Greek origins to its use as an air raid shelter in WW2.

You then go on a walk through different corridors and caverns, including through a tiny passage for water (optional!), and learn more detail about the history including the men who used to maintain the system, and how the toilets worked in the air raid shelter...

Roberto the guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgable - I think he could have a second career as a tv entertainer ;)

I was a bit confused because I think there are a few tours with almost the same name, but I did the LAES one at Vico S. Anna di Palazzo, 52. I'd recommend going in person to book a time to avoid confusion with the other tours!

The tour was very interesting, very glad we did it! The guide did a great job explaining what it was like for the people staying down there during the war. We learned a lot. We walked through a few of the very narrow passageways, that was quite the experience for someone quite a bit taller than the average Italian back then. Highly recommend this tour.

We (my wife and I) were a part of the English tour on the evening of 19th September 2021. We do not remember the name of our guide, which is unfortunate because he was absolutely spectacular! We were amazed to see his level of enthusiasm and knowledge of Napoli subterranean. The English guide really loves his job, which made our experience magical. The tour was filled with narrow crevices, through which, we were able to jump from one 'room' to another. The guide made sure that none of us were claustrophobic and actually made it fun for us to walk through these passages. The guide was very knowledgeable about all the different 'rooms' and showed us some mind-blowing graffiti. This subterranean tour was our last activity in Naples and thanks to the well-organized tour, it provided us with a fitting end to our trip to Napoli!
