Most of the rooms were closed when we were there, but at least the price was reduced (though maybe not commensurately). The rooms that we did get to see were impressive.

This is simply fantastic. The rooms are very nice and the architecture is also very appreciable.
The views are something which give this palace a very athipical situation. To the inside the view on Piazza del Plebiscito is simply amazing and the one towards the sea transports you to a leggendarious epoque.

Very beautiful building located in a very emblematic square. The architecture is amazing. You need tickets to go inside.

The place is really nice to see, such long history behind, with an impressive staircase and its ow theater.

We went on a very rainy day. I have given this 4 out of 5 purely on the basis that it has got a wow factor when you are inside.
Although it is huge there isn’t a great deal to look at and we did the tour in around an hour.
There were hardly any visitors when we went which was good but the gardens were shut due to weather I can only presume.
Staff were not great or overly helpful which I have kind of come to expect in Naples.

Information is lacking so I would recommend a tour guide if you can get one.
Worth going and worth the price.

We reserved a time slot to go inside the place (it's free to go in the gardens but they are not spectacular) didn't ask for reservations but just paid our 6 euro each to go round. Was a information stand in each room in english and italian telling you about the room. Very grand, we enjoyed it

So little information was given, even at the ticket office. The woman selling the tickets could not even get off the phone to direct us and seemed irritated that I even asked. So much potential but it all seemed sadly neglected and dirty. No information, no guides, and the outside was grubby with graffiti and dog mess. Shame as it could have been a highlight if done well.

Standing on the square that is only for pedestrians. Very impressive square and this building is immense with lots of statues. See the photos.

I cam across the Palace by accident, thinking that it was a museum. You are temperature checked on entry but do not need to book a ticket in advance. Not all rooms are open, but there was enough to see and be impressed by. The rooms were elegantly decorated with furniture and art work to match.
It was only 6 Euros 50, which was incredible value for money.
Face coverings are required inside the palace.

This is another tourist attraction that is part of a series of activities that can be done together.

Take a walk from Toledo train station, using Via Toledo towards the Piazza and finish at Castel Nuovo, and you would have covered many tourist attractions along with shopping, eating and drinking.
