The tradition of representing the Holy Family as true art lives on in this narrow street, which is crowded on both sides with hundreds of artisan workshops with colorful displays of Nativity scenes.

A must for all lovers of “Christmas Magic”
Oct. 2021 • Friends
Been on my bucket list for ages. Decided to go in Oct as it’s quieter. It was truly a great experience. One must go with the idea of looking at the artisanal work done by the store owners. There is plenty of the same thing but it’s the work that goes into making these pieces that makes the visit worthwhile. The purpose of going is to buy LOCAL MADE IN ITALT and not cheap imports. I will definitely go again to expand my collection. I was intrigued. A must for any lover of “Christmas Magic”. Would I go in the middle of summer, November or December? No the road is too small and it would be extremely crowded. October was magnificent

Essential to visit
Aug. 2021
Essential experience when visiting Naples. Visiting this street with my family was very pleasant thought crawdy and gave us the chance to buy nice souvenirs. In this street you can see the Christmas market of Naples filled with ceramic figures of Nativity but also of Diego Maradona or the Pope!!!

Strange street!
Aug. 2021 • Friends
The most strangest street you will ever see in the world lol. You have to walk down it. It’s just full of nativity nonsense, figurines, chachkas, dust collectors and random things. Kind of looks like a bunch of junk but there’s some pretty cool things if you look around.

Nativity obsession
Sep. 2020
This is a very popular street in Naples, where every other shop sells Nativity scenes stuff. Good to buy souvenirs!

Amazing contrasts
Aug. 2020 • Solo
The street name beside an AC unit, the souvenir shop with the laundry drying above and next to a beautiful old gate with graffiti, the bell tower structure at the top of the street. Something for everyone.

The most characteristic street in Naples
Jul. 2020 • Couples
I love passing through this long and very busy street. It’s so particular! You may see lots of handmade items for sale- from magnets and souvenirs to tambourines and, of course, for what it’s most famous- nativity scenes. If you want to feel the heart of Naples, you must come here!

Walking down via San Gregorio Armeno
Feb. 2020
I think that Via S. Gregorio Armeno is one of the most characteristic streets all over the world. Walking down it you pass through a market where you can buy anything for the typical Naples cribs (presepi in Italian). Don't miss the convent of San Gregorio Armeno: its beautiful cloister with a large Baroque marble fountain and citrus groves, orchards and garden is a place where you can take a rest and find peace. I love this place!
