What a wonderful place! This piazza is one you won't miss in Capri - a lovely spot to unwind or get wound up!

We walked into Piazza Umberto 1 known locally as La Piazzetta. The name Piazzetta comes from its tiny town square crowded by bright cafe tables where, we are told, is the perfect place to people watch. We walked to the end of the piazza that...More

Everyone sits here. Get ready for show and some churchbells. You quickly get used to the feeling of being in some Fellini movie. It is just must. And drink costs some more. But in Italy do as italians.

This is the main square of Capri and is buzzing and lively. Numerous place to sit and drink or eat and just people watch

Most famous square in Capri city, small, full of terraces of very expensive cafés, I really missed the authenticity of the place. It may have been nice 50 years ago to sit there and have a coffee, but with mass tourism, it lost a lot.

In most respects like any other Italian square, except that it is very touristy and expensive. Go further up the hill to find the nice stuff.
