Most famous square in Capri city, small, full of terraces of very expensive cafés, I really missed the authenticity of the place. It may have been nice 50 years ago to sit there and have a coffee, but with mass tourism, it lost a lot.
Even those who come for just the day pass through this Piazza since the funicular from the port deposits you here. Nice shops, restaurants and cafes with great views of the water. Not a quiet and peaceful spot by any means, but the crowds move...More
In most respects like any other Italian square, except that it is very touristy and expensive. Go further up the hill to find the nice stuff.
