A quiet ex monastery which was having an art exhibition when I visited. It is in a fairly original repair with some beautiful frescoes and a charming church. A quiet and interesting place.

If you like modern art you will love this place and give it 5 stars. Art apart the ex monastery is interesting, not stunning. The entrance to the garden is hard to find (not marked), but has a lovely view. But if it's just the view you want rather than pay 4 Euro here, you get a better view from... More

La Certosa di San Giacomo is a remaining of a church and it is turned into average Museum. I like to know something about building which I visit, it's history and stories, but there is no audio guide or any written guide inside, so you should use internet to read about it before you go. Yard looked spooky and it... More

If you're visiting Capri for the day this is worth a visit, particularly for the view over the sea from the garden. Moreover it is close to the small Garden of Augustus. However, signing post from Capri town is poor. We first headed out to the Belvedere Cannone, and only by accident found our way to the monastery.

I'm a little behind in my TA reviews so the photogrphy exhibition that was in in this old monastry may be over by now but it was a brilliant collection of work by 3 different artists of Capri, Italy and histroric rooms. There was also a fascinating exhibition that I think is permanent of paintings of Capri by an artist... More

Close enough to walk, far enough to get away from the package tours which make Capri a pain in the behind, this is a lovely piece of tranquillity. It's 4 euros to get in and closed at 2pm when we went today. As well as a stunning monastery it had an excellent exhibition of an early 20th century German painter(Diefenbach),... More
