Viewed it from the Augustus gardens and from its gated entrance and archway. No idea what it's like inside as it was closed. Very limited opening hours to the public.

The monastery itself is quite run down and not much is open apart from the church, which is worth checking out for the beautiful frescoes. The other rooms are now used as an art gallery for the work of KW Diefenbach, who lived on the...More

Great walk to get there. Lovely historic grounds. Great sense of the old and new. Good amount of modern art. For €4 this is a great place. Worth a go.

A peaceful gem of a place. Loved walking around and thoroughly enjoyed the Diefenbach art exhibition. Worth the small entrance fee

It took me a minute to figure out how to get to the beautiful building I was seeing from above and that it wasn't a hotel, but I loved walking through the museum and gardens, if only for the architecture not to mention the art.
