So close to the centre it's worth the very short walk to have a look. Beautiful ruins. Peaceful moment away from the hustle & bustle!

Located just off the Piazza Tasso I highly recommend take two minutes out if your day to look down into this stunning crevice. Il Vallone dei Mulino is a mountain cleft that dates from a volcanic eruption around 35000 years ago. You cannot go down...More

Just 2 minutes away by foot from Piazza Tasso, this beautiful sight is a real eye-oasis! Full of trees and a beautiful small river it looks just like a tiny forest in the city.

Most people dont realize its right behind the piano bar, 2 min walk. It is beautiful and a must see. Free to do and takes just a few minutes to admire its beauty.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, but you can't really get any closer than street level (as far as I could tell). It looked like there was a staircase (with a locked gate) through the parking lot across the street from this...More

We passed the ravine on the bus ride to town and walked back to find these amazing ruins. I've seen many pictures of Il Vallone dei Mulini before and was delighted to see it in person. Worth scouting out.

From Piazza Tasso as you look at Bar Fauno take the road to the left of the bar. You will be walking towards Hotel Antiche Mura. It is down in the valley opposite the hotel.
