Well worth a visit. Suggest when you get in you just sit down for a while to take it all in. It is quite some building

This is a lovely and impressive Duomo-the cathedral of Sorrento. It is impressive from an architectural point of view, albeit with a rather plain facade. Nothing wrong with that. The interior is beautiful, especially the stations of the cross and the bishop’s cathedra, or chair...More

The Cathedral in Sorrento is rather plain on the outside but when you go inside it is magnificent with many hugely artistic features. Definitely worth a visit.

This cathedral was a wonderful unexpected experience. The front of the building is very modest and you would not even realise it was a church. On entering it is just stunning and such a contrast to the basic facade of the building. A beautiful Catholic...More

Visited this half by accident, once you step inside it is breathtaking. It's a large cathedral well maintained and has a real positive feel. The paintings are really good

This is a stunning cathedral with the most incredible crib i have ever seen. Not only does it include all the usual characters in a Nativity scene but it also has other villagers and farmers and typifies an entire village scene; truly interesting and different.

Free entry, a beautiful Cathedral definitely worth a visit whilst in Sorrento. I took many photos of the archtecture, paintings etc..

We were just strolling around Sorrento and stuck our heads in for a quick peek. While it looks quite plain on the outside the inside is much different. We found some beautiful religious artwork and decorative timber pieces. Well worth a look.

Easy to find being just off the main Street through Sorrento. Free entry but they do ask for respect with no phones, cameras, photos etc. Beautifully decorated and the ceiling is amazing. Check out the fabulous nativity scene on the left as you go through...More

My husband & I visited the Cattedrale di Sorrento which is located right off Corso Italia in its shopping district. It is so easy to miss this one because of the way it sits back off the main walk area behind the tall iron gates....More

The Mass times are printed and located on the door to the Cathedral facing the Main Street. Mass is held each morning around 9am - not 100% sure of the exact time, but I was in the Cathedral early one morning and a... More
