My husband and I took the six-course Italian Menu cooking class and loved it! Chef William, the instructor, was very nice and entertaining. We learned many delicious recipes plus some cooking basics and knife skills. The class was a good mix of watching and hands-on participation. The bruschetta recipe was absolutely stellar. I can't wait to make that recipe at... More

This cooking course was the best course I have ever taken in Italy and maybe ever. I first took the Italian menu course. I can honestly say that from the buschetta to the chicken with white wine an d tomato, the food was very delicious. I then took the ice cream course and chesse course and both of the course... More

Our last day in Sorrento me and my mom took a cooking class in old taverna sorrentina! By far the best expirience in Sorrento and the best food we have tasted in italy. Chef William and his wife Maria were so kind, we loved them! We will always remember their advice for cooking and their loving way of teaching us.... More

The Old Taverna Sorrentina cooking school was a highlight of our trip. It is quite hidden if you are coming from the wrong direction and you tend to be coerced into stopping at the attached Gelato shop and then you realise you are in fact in the correct place. The cooking class is ran by a very energetic, informative chef... More

I didn't know what to expect and a little nervous being one person. But Chef William and his wife Maria could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It was a perfect introduction for me - you didn't have to measure or spice things but still had the opportunity to learn some skills with a knife, the proper use and... More

This cooking lesson was not only educational but alot of fun too. Not just a demonstration, we were given a little notebook and learned the practical science of basic pasta making in traditional Italian cooking. But it was all entertaining, inclusive and delivered with a lot of humour by our chef teacher. We got a hands on opportunity to stretch... More

Let me preface this comment by mentioning that taking a cooking class in Italy was one of my life's bucket list items. My expectations were high, but luckily they were exceeded. William and Maria were the perfect hosts! I (along with 8 other participants) learned so much and with the patience of Chef William and his assistant (sous chef), corrected... More

We had a great time at a wine tasting class we signed up for at this establishment . The owner took us on a personalized tour of his place and unique wine cellar. We loved his stories and family history. We were able to taste different wines and then given a wonderful antipasti platter with multiple glasses of wine as... More

This Italian menu class had its ups and downs. After having taken other cooking classes in which we were allowed to mix the doughs, cut the vegetables, meat, etc., and make the bread/pasta, we felt that our "hands on" time here was limited. In our opinion, some of the things that the Sous Chef did could have been used as... More
