Lovely seaside walk along the esplanade, with views of the harbour and small cafes for snacks. Swimming beaches along the route

I walked here every morning to enjoy the view, and often returned in the evening to watch the passagiato. Don’t miss the cafe by the beach!

While sitting along a beach area on my first day in town, families were abound, some teenagers and well, it was just a gloomy day with gloomy people and I can't wait to return!!!!

An excellent place to walk through day and night. Especially at night after dinner all the tourists and locals stroll through this lungomare which is very long and has beautiful views!

An idyllic view of Salerno, and a great walk. Lots of activity, though a very peaceful and calm experience.

When we visited it was during the Luci D'Artista in Salerno. This meant that the foreshore was lined with christmas markets, and a small carnival including a Ferris Wheel. However, the view out over the bay is beautiful, especially on a clear night.

I walked the length of the Lungomare on a day with pleasant weather and it was a great way to get a feel for the city. Lots of great restaurants, bars, cafes, and gelato along the way, and a very god area for photography.

We took a stroll down here and it was lovely sitting on the benches under the trees having a cold beer and looking out over the bay as the sun went down.
