Really interesting spot and well worth the walk through the old town of Salerno. There is also a lift from lower Salerno. Modest entry free. Gardens are situated over five levels, probably allow about an hour for a visit - it's not a huge site....More

Very beautiful garden, as well as walk through little streets with murals leading to garden. Need to go up elevators to reach garden of medicinal herbs.

Take the time to see Giardino della Minerva. It is a lovely terraced garden that has been in existence since the 12th Century. It's well worth a visit. They have a lovely tearoom as well with tisanes, teas, and other goodies to eat.

Interesting and well kept garden on 5 levels. The watering system is interesting, all the plants are well labeled, and the view is very good. A nice spot to relax. I think it was €2.

If on foot there's a significant climb to the gardens. Luckily we had a car so it wasn't an issue. Only 3 euro entrance fee provides you with fantastic garden tranquility with spectacular views over Salerno and its bay.

Loveliest garden on the slopes - with a fantastic view over the city of Salerno and the bay. It is amazing that somebody could build such a beautiful garden here.

We spent a lovely hour here wandering around the different levels of this restored medeival garden. The plants are all laid out and labelled - though most were not in flower in September it was still very tranquil and beautiful. There is an amazing history...More
