This small botanical garden is definitely worth a stop. Lots of stairs, but lovely, fragrant and cool, with wonderful views of the city and the coastline.

A testimony of the medieval school of medicine. Develops on several levels on the side of the hill of Salerno. Very well preserved and maintained in a angle of the town with a nice view.

The gardens are only about a 15 minute walk from city center and 2 or 3 euros to enter but well worth it. They are small but beautiful and have an interesting history. Make sure to sit on the terrace and have an appetizer and...More

The Garden of Minerva is a peaceful oasis in the middle of Salerno. Although small it sheds light on the origins of modern herbal medicines and the way in which the plants were planted, studied, and also enjoyed. The view from the garden of Salerno...More

This garden is well worth the trek up some hills or in the communal acensore (elevator). It's a gorgeous four-level terrace of plants and irrigation features. The plants are all well labeled and are nice to smell and learn about. The views of the seaside...More

It is a bit of an uphill walk to get to the garden but it is well worth the effort. The garden is set on multi-tiered levels so you need to do some additional climbing but it's a very relaxing place. The sounds of water...More

The Garden is on the steep hillside above the old town, and has good views of the sea, and the coastline south. The garden itself gives an insight into herbal medicine as practise over time since the middle ages. Many herbs are grown as specimens...More

Really neat spot in the middle of the city. Very original and pretty. Kids and families would love this, although as a couple, we enjoyed this too.

Risposta molto corretta. More
