Never use Possitano jet services. Booked a tour from Amalfi. Guess - they didnt come. Explanation - not enough passengers. Normal companies then makes sure Youre informed. They dont give a .. Even though all contact details were provided. So we waited for 2 hours with a wife (pregnant) and a 3 year old daughter while figured this out and found other solution to reach Capri.

Capri is a small island just off the Sorrento peninsula, across the bay from Naples. Getting there can be done by ferry (from Naples, Sorrento, Salerno, or any of the intermediate smaller communities), by private boat or as part of a tour. In all cases,, this is a wonderful way to see the Coast, the wonderful little communities (Erchie, Vietri sul Mare, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Conca dei Marini, Positano, etc.). On a clear day, visibility is excellent and much of the history of the Coast reveals itself: the many remaining Norman towers, originally built to alert the population of the arrival of Saracen pirates; the steep cliffs of the coastal mountain range, with houses seemingly grabbing on the land by a hair. the changes in vegetation and the lemon and orange plantations in terraces, as well as vines grown in very narrow groves. While driving along the Amalfi road gives you one view of the Coast, doing it by boat gives you an entirely different and complementary impression.

Got the boat from Minori to Capri take about an hour and 45 minutes boat was quite hot inside ,they don't allow you to stand at the back in the open even though there was enough room, but overall it was ok ,expect big crowds when you get off as other boats are coming from far and wide,it was a very hot day we hired a scooter to get around the island was well worth considering.

This was the perfect way to see the Amalfi Coast and Capri during our stay in Amalfi. Along the way to Capri we stopped to swim, visited the Green Grotto, and rode through the Faraglioni. The crew was very accomodating and provided beer, soda, and wine along the way. Because of the weather this day, we didn't visit the Blue Grotto (the crew gave us the option), and ended up spending our extra time in Capri. We were there about 2 hours and spent the time walking around the island and eating lunch. We felt like this was the perfect amount of time there and gave us a good taste of what the island had to offer. We loved everything about this and would highly recommend!
