Nice walking area with views of the city. However, the one side is closed. So you have cyclists and walkers on the same side now. Not a must see of Italy but if you're in the area, stop bye.

That's a point in Pescara where you have to be. Good place for a short rest during a walk and it's great opportunity on the center to make a wonderful photo.

In the uk we would be giving the architect a knighthood for this but here, as in thousands of towns and cities across Italy, it was merely necessary to build a bridge, but why not have a thing of beauty as well?

The bridge is practical and interesting regarding architecture. From the top, one has a good view over the city and on the mountains.

It is really lovely walking across the artistic bridge, both during the day or at night with all the beautiful lights. It is a must to visit the bridge if you are in Pescara

If you are in Pescara, you must see this bridge. It’s beautiful. Divided in two parts for cyclers and pedestrians. It has a good view of the sea and town. Fun for children!

From our charming Hotel Alba, we walked 600m northeast along the main pedestrian Corso Umberto I to the wide sandy beach then followed it’s pedestrian walk/bikeway 1.4 km southeast to this bridge. From 2009, the architecture is unique in structure, as is its division into...More

With pedestrian and bicycle paths only, this bridge not only links north and south Pescara, but offers many opportunities to take photos.
