Built just recently - it has been opened only in 2009 -, this bridge has become rapidly a very popular Pescara's landmark among visitors and locals alike, since it affords some spectacular views of the seafront, of the city and of the mountains clearly visible...More

Unfortunately, Pescara is a young town compared to other Italian towns, and does not offer historical roman or medieval sites for tourists. The "Ponte del Mare" is a dry, artless, metallic bridge, which is not even an engineering achievement. Walking or cycling to the top...More

Very nice to walk on this bridge crossing the entrance of pescara Harbour. The view is astonishing and you can enjoy a relaxing moment watching the fishing boats entering or leaving the harbour

Perfect place for sunset. Beware fast bikes racing down the bridge but enjoy great views over Pescara and -> Abruzzo

Very long bridge, very interesting to see the structure. Amazing view Suggestion: rent a bike and use it for looking at the various sites. Bikes are well respected.

Spend about 30 min walking the bridge and viewing all of the beach clubs up and down the coast. Parking can be difficult to find the closer you are to the beach, but there are some public parking areas available just a short 5-10 min...More

Just stroll across the bridge and look around you - the sea inlet with boats on one side and the vast Adriatic on the other.

Nice walking area with views of the city. However, the one side is closed. So you have cyclists and walkers on the same side now. Not a must see of Italy but if you're in the area, stop bye.
