Went up the bridge, it was nice and clean but nothing spectacular. The walkway was facing the ocean, while the bicycle lanes towards the city with some 15m in between. Too bad that no photos can be made of the city and the amazing mountains in the background.

Pescara is great place to see and where to live in . I've been living in pescara for 1 year and a half since I was in uni on that period . This Bridge has been recently constructed and it's a lovely place where to go if you want to walk along the beach and then watch the sunset from... More

Unfortunately, Pescara is a young town compared to other Italian towns, and does not offer historical roman or medieval sites for tourists. The "Ponte del Mare" is a dry, artless, metallic bridge, which is not even an engineering achievement. Walking or cycling to the top of the bridge offers you a limited view of the town, from a not too... More

We were passing through on way to Le Marche and decided to stop to see bridge. Note that our GPS took us to a location about 2 miles north of actual bridge. This is a place to spend just a few minutes walking on top and taking pictures. Mostly the bridge is used for exercise (walking, running and biking). The... More

Well worth a visit!! Although a little windy it was well worth the slight incline of a walk to look across the view of the sea.

Bridge that splits in two parts. Did not expect that. From the bridge you have a great view. Nice exercise if you like to run as the bridge is steep.

The views are spectacular. The bridge an architecturally stunning. Finish it with a walk along the northern boardwalk & stop for a beer

The foot/cycle bridge that links the northern side of Pescara to the southern part of the city. The views from the top of the bridge are lovely and worth the walk up.

From the central public beach the marina is a leisurely 20 minute walk and you need to head in the direction of the big ferris wheel. This is where you will find the big pedestrian walkway bridge over the port area called Ponte del Mare. Bicycles have a special Lane on the bridge. The bridge is an interesting design and... More
