Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The museum hosts the story of the Poet's life in a simple and elegant way. Crossing the rooms of the apartment you can admire the environments where he spent his childhood, while the museum located inside allows you to observe and learn about all the stages of his life through original letters, clothes and authentic photos.
The horse stable is very characteristic.
Excellent access price, paid parking nearby.

My wife and I visited this extraordinary museum site, which traces the entire family and artistic life of the great poet and writer from Pescara.
We visited all the internal and external environments relating to the existence of this great figure of Italian and international culture.
Very good, also to be proposed for educational visits for schools!

The kindness and courtesy of the staff cannot be discussed: all of them are attentive and attentive to the requests of those who enter the house. It was certainly a nice review of a great poet and writer. However, I have one complaint. I would like the explanations of everything locked in the cases to be better readable: I made a lot of effort!
The film, certainly interesting, which takes up what we then find in the rooms, would be useful to do in a more intimate place, without the comings and goings of people screaming. Then I liked the visit and it was interesting, but I would value what was written above
Thank you

Small, well-kept museum. Friendly and prepared staff.
The rooms contain documents, objects of daily life and the poet's handwritten letters. The visit overall is interesting but short, if you are already in Pescara it is certainly worth a visit... but arm yourself with patience to find parking!

You'll stroll around the small noble house where the poet was born. He wrote about it in one of his poems, describing the rooms and his feelings and the citations (Italian only!) are printed and placed in the rooms. What makes it's worth a visit is a very moderate price and a possibility to see what a noble's house of the end of the 19th century looked like: with all original furniture.

D'annunzio was an incedible man, his life was very excited and dangerous.
This Museum doesn't give a sensorial experience to the visitors but you can understand and see with your eyes where a "big" man was birth. You can also have a lot of information regarding his amazing life.
must go!

Not sure what all the super review are for- a run down museum with very little information in English. A cute collection of international dolls on the second floor.

If you do not speak Italian, this museum is not for you. I ended up reading Wikipedia in the courtyard. The building is nice but the museum's collection fairly limited. Beyond the challenge of illustrating someone's life personality, political action and writings, which can be so abstract, I found very little in the museum that I could relate to what I had just learnt on this major character of the Italian politics and literature. Entrance was free that Sunday.

Very interesting little museum in the heart of Pescara's old town. Definitely worth a visit! However, I'd recommend the museum's managers to improve the English material for foreign visitors ;-)

Written 13 April 2018
Buongiorno.

do you think old-style museums have no right to exist? it shows you the housse the way it was and there were no lcd screens and special effects.... now when all museums tend to become interactive & special effects these old ones stand out and seem strange...
