Well it is not so big as other European cathedrals, but is very nice. Located at Reina square, it is with many chapels including the Holly Grail one. Must see!

The Valencia Cathedral was absolutely brilliant! The entire square is vibrant with many great restaurants nearby. A must see if you are in Valencia for a day or two.... John B.

There is a charge to enter the Cathedral but it is worth paying. It is very beautiful inside with breathtaking art work and decor. There is also a museum inside and the option to purchase headphones that will talk you through what you can see in your own language.

Cathedrals all involve so much history and so much architectural genius that I find them very difficult to rate. The cathedral is impressive and one of the sights to see, particularly if you have limited time in Valencia. The square outside is a hub of activity, mostly dining. Just don' eat at the restaurant that calls itself "MEXICAN." It's not.

Not only the Cathedral is worth a visit, the whole city quarter around it is fantastic. The is animation from morning to night, it seems this place is never sleeping. A top destination in Valencia

This is one of the main attractions in Valencia - it's cheap to get in (€6 each) and there's lots to see (including a museum). Audio headsets are available as part of the admission. There is a tower you can climb - I think this may be a separate charge.

Had a great hour or so here some historical things here to see. Seems like no one has mentioned the swastikas on the front doors of this place. Must be a Nazi connection because they are the exact same swasticas as the Third Reich flag. A little different than the Sanskrit swastikas from India. I can't find and information on... More

Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful cathedral. But it has nothing that really distinguishes it from others. The mosque cathedral of Córdoba for instance has its architecture and characteristic arches. The Valencia cathedral is a beauty, but will offer nothing you won't have seen elsewhere.

I cycled the Way of St James from Haarlem to Santiago de Compostela, so I've seen my fare share of cathedrals in Spain. Having said that, yes it's a beautiful cathedral. No, it's not spectacular. Pity you have to pay to go inside.
