BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

We had a lovely day at the bioparc, which convinces because of the animals and, in particular, their presentation. You get a combination of beautiful scenery and proximity that is quite unique! We loved the hyenas; they showed up just 5 meters from us and almost frightened us with their nervousness - as a fun contrast to the beautiful giraffes,... More

We wrote our rented bikes over and had a little bit of a hard time to find the entrance. So before you leave , check out how to go. The park is amazing!! All the animals looked happy ( if that is possible being where they are). The animal enclosures are very well designed and generous proportions. Very clean with... More

We spent a lovely day at the Bioparc, the biggest surprise and the highlight for us was the baby gorilla, who was beating his chest and trying to wake up his sleeping parents, we spent a good hour watching him. If you like zoos, you'll love this one. Our 15 year old daughter was enchanted by it, seems she can't... More

Visited the Bioparc Valencia and to be honest it was not as great as I was expecting. Yes the place is clean, yes the animals seem content and fed well, yes their was plenty of variety of animals and it's broken down into sections to make it more appealing but their was one thing that really bugged me at this... The animals look very content. Lemurs napping in the trees above you while you walk through the enclosure. Nice how the animals share the environment with other compatible species. Very easy to see the animals while giving them space. Not too expansive so easy to spend a few hours exploring. The food in the cafe was also good lemon rotisserie... More

We visited the Bioparc as part of an organised excursion. We were there a couple of hours and were able to see the whole park with its lions, leopards, elephants, meerkats, crocs, giraffes, lemurs, gorillas and a whole host of other birds and animals. Probably the most beautiful zoo I have been to, with well looked after animals in lovely... More

Forget the idea of a zoo with animals in cages. Here most of the animals are free to move about on large tracts of land where, the management, seem to have done their utmost to turn into a close relative to their natural habitat. Besides this the park is well run and well organised: facilities are close wherever you are... More
