A fantastic place to base yourself for exploring this part of Spain. Beautiful countryside, amazing views, not too touristy, but close enough to those popular tourist destinations to experience if wanted. We shall be returning!

Cloudy day so opted for a drive out from Calpe. Discovered a fantastic communal centre called the Centro Instructivo Jalon in the town centre. We ate a set meal with about 30 local some playing domino. The food was simple but soooooo tasty. Very friendly...More

Amazing valley surrounded by mountains. Agriculture established by the Moors, still continues. In March, at the end of the season, fresh oranges on sale at 2euro for 5 kilos.

Great valley, with as highligt Jalon. Visit on saturday´s! You can find a nice market with all kind of (old) stuff. Don`t forget to stroll into the little village. Great authentic place.
