We found this show rather unusual. The dancers and costumes were pretty good although it felt like they were all part of a private joke or story that the audience wasn't aware of. The musicians were good although the singing was quite strange almost like...More

This is the first time i've been to see flamenco and I was absolutely blown away by the performance. It lasts about 2 hours which flies by. The venue is excellent - very intimate (accommodating roughly 50 people) and my god the dancers, the singer...More

This was a great end to the night. The band alone was incredible - all of them. The singer has a soulful voice, violinist played with passion, the guitarist had a nuianced solo with amazing sounds, the percussionist supported them all wrll. The dancers were...More

You will not spend a better 25 Euros in Spain if you have a musical bone in your body and if you have some Celt in you then wow. Great artists. Small intimate venue. Simply go.

We've been there in our last evening, and it was a memorable experience! Loved the performers, the girl was amazing, and the atmosphere cozy and frendly. We liked they were feeling natural to each other and the public.

Hello Adrian: "They were feeling natural to each other". Yes, that is one of our secrets. We have the same group of artists from months ago, we think is important the complicity among the group. Thank you for the review.

This was our first flamenco experience. The performance at Essential Flamenco felt authentic and the intimate basement environment contributed to that. There were individual performances by the musicians (fantastic) and individual and joint performances by the dancers - also fantastic. The reservation process by internet...More

Cathy, you are right. "Passion and soul" is what real flamenco is. I´ll say more, I will say that without passion there is no art, and certainly our flamenco artist reach that feelings every night. Thanks for your review.
