This church has a differing style to it than others as it's pointed features with bell tower and dome make it look rather like a mosque from the outside. Unfortunately I cannot comment on it's interior as it was closed when I visited.

This is a beautiful building! Arab influences, it looks like a mosque. The church was closed, wasn't in my plan, I was on my way to the Retiro Park when I saw it, but it is an amazing structure.Must stop and see it !

The church it's in a great location, near retiro! The architecture of the church it's really nice, bizantine style! You must walk in and admire the art work, the decoration of the walls and the dome!

Right beside Parque de El Retiro this church is spectacular with it's cream tower and orange red dome. Looking good and some greenery aswell. It's right next to Retiro tube.

The church is spectacular, with high vaulted ceilings decorated with tile art. Entrance is free, and it is not touristy. It offers mass regularly.

Metro: Retiro All for the glory of God! Beautiful! Inside, It was all mosaic tiles- it was glittering. Dome-shaped and had Arabic influences. My camera couldnt quite capture its magnificence.

The architecture of the Church of San Manuel and San Benito is very unusual in Madrid and is Neo-Byzantine, a modernist creation. My wife and I always enter this church to pray, since we always walk in the area.
