We serve an excellent choice of tapas and drinks, which our clients can savour while enjoying the best flamenco show in Madrid. We do not only invite famous artistes to perform alongside our in-house musicians, but, due to our desire to keep flamenco alive, we also give an opportunity to young talent, as we have been doing for the last 40 years. We did the dinner show. We had a pre fixe menu which worked well for us. The show started right on time. The show lasted 1 1/2 hours with short breaks for these talented dancers and musicians. The staff was great and we chatted with the performers after the show. Go see this for some, flamenco dancing. i

We were curious to see what a true flamenco performance looked like and we weren't disappointed! Although the restaurant was not full( it was a Tuesday) the dancers still put on a spirited performance. There were 4 female dancers and 1 male, 2 guitarists and 2 male singers. They organised an impromptu happy birthday song and cake for my daughter... More

We love Flamenco - and this is probably the best we've been to. Authentic and vibrant performances in quite an intimate environment. The performers enjoyed what they were doing , and it showed. Excellent guitar music too. Had the fixed price menu and the food was plentiful and delicious. Front of house and waiting staff very welcoming and attentive. Recommended!

I loved this place for its flamenco show. I had prebooked online and i had booked just for the show without any drinks or food. Hence I cant comment on the food but the show is totally worth it. Its a 90 min show which will keep u on your toes till the end. Entertaining and sheer elegance in performance.... More

My wife and I scheduled a Madrid city tour that included and evening dinner at Cafe de Chinitas. It was our first visit to Madrid and were not familiar with the city streets or location of the restaurant. After the bus tour we had to walk a couple of blocks to reach the restaurant. Once there it was like entering... More

At least, that's how it was for us. The food was OK, the staff polite and helpful. We were invited there, so I cannot talk about the prices, all I can say is that each and every one of our group enjoyed the show a lot.

The evening was spectacular and the absolute highlight of our week long vacation. There is absolutley no doubt that we will visit the show and the cafe again, the next time we are in the city. The service was incredible and very friendly, typical for the warm hearted people of Spain. Besides the caring staff, the show was absolutley mind... More

Very nice and old-timer venue for flamenco with the performers enjoying entertaining the crowd. It feels a Spanish western with the American crowd, Chinese restaurant setting and most casual dancers, except the very serious toque.

I booked this as part of the evening tour of Madrid and the Flamenco show offered by Madrid City Tours. The show at the Cafe de Chinitas was outstanding - vibrant and colorful. I was very impressed by the enthusiasm of the artists. The venue is easily accessible very close to Paza d'Espana. I will highly recommend it.

Staying in Centro

Neighbourhood Profile
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
