The is the home of Spain's royal family. The part of the palace open for the tour is very manageable in 1-2 hours, with a good audio guide. As you face the entrance, look up to the right and left of the entrance to see...More

We were unable to book on line so we arrived prior to opening (10 am) and queued. We were only waiting for a short while to go in. We got the audio guides (Samsung tablets with ear pieces, these were worthwhile). Highly recommend this visit,...More

This is the royal palace and is a 'copy' of Versailles. I've been to both and I thought this one was more impressive. It is larger and there are many more areas open to the public. The lines can be long so go early.

We went to this Palace the first day we arrived in Madrid and we were so glad we did, because the next day it was packed. So get there early. Beautiful palace and a must on your tour of Madrid.

Worth visiting! We were there just as the sun was setting and the palace looked amazing basked in an orange glow. Good time to visit as it wasn't very crowded.

Lovely palace but the tour is a bit long! After location 20, all the rooms look similar! The armoury is very good though,

I bought them directly in the web page of Palacio Real. I used pay pal most of the time. Keep you CC safe. They are cheaper. I do not recall the exact price. They have a time allocation for the entrance and then best part... More

Is the palace open to visit on August 15? Feast of the assumption. I know many places in Spain are closed that day but I can't find any information about the Palacio Real.
