We visited the palace today, or at least we wanted to. We came There 5 a clock, and between 4 and 6 you could visit for free. The armory was amazing!!! Sad point was that the staff was really rude, and telling No photos!! Then...More

A worthwhile visit, beautifully maintained. Would say that we had trouble using the lockers since no directions. You need a euro coin to place in slot inside of door. Also we did not ever see a no photography sign in palace which is the case...More

I'd recently gone to Versailles Palace in Paris and thought that nothing could compare to that. But a visit to Madrid's Royal Palace changed my mind! It is an incredible place and it's impeccably kept. You are immediately transported to the past, every corner and...More

The Palace is interesting with regard to its architecture, furniture, art objects and history of the royal family of spain. However you should not expect the same impact than what you get from other royal palaces like Versaille for example. There is also a huge...More

The Royal Palace is a must-see if you are in Madrid, but it is like with most of the churches, when you see one, you have seen them all. They have a peacock who made the visit more colorful.

The palace is well worth seeing but the crowds in season must be terrible as they were bad enough during our early Dec visit. Order your tickets online to avoid the long wait to get in. The armory was especially interesting but I can't understand...More

We rented the excellent multimedia guide to tour the Royal Palace and it was worth every penny. This enormous palace complex has a variety of opulently furnished rooms that date back to the 1700's, some of which are still used for palace events today. The...More

I think you could spend around 3 hours there with the possibility of additional time if you choose to see the kitchen, which is a separate tour and additional cost offered at specific times. We spent close to 3 hours and... More

I can only think of one mode of transportation and that would be by plane. It’s a different country!
