Toledo and Segovia Tour with Alcazar Entrance from Madrid

1,016 reviews
Visiting both Toledo and Segovia in a day from Madrid is near impossible without a car rental and some serious time management. On this trip, you get to see both cities as a guide charts their history, minus the stress of organizing transport. Plus, you’re certain of seeing the key sights, including Toledo’s Primada Cathedral, and Segovia’s Roman aqueduct and Alcazar. Ideal if you’re pressed for time and want a day out of Madrid.

It is a school where you can learn while enjoying cooking. Super nice people who try hard because you learn to make fantastic rices with an infallible method. If you want to improve your rice this is your site! And in addition you get dark to eat. A luxury!

My children (11, 10 and 7) and I adored this class last week — and loved getting to know Maria and her colleague Jo. We also learned so much about Spanish culinary culture and how to make authentic delicious paella. Truly a treat — gorgeous set up in their kitchen studio, the warmest hospitality, and such expertise that they shared with us. (Plus a lovely glass of wine for mom! ;)) Run don’t walk to take part in this awesome adventure next time you are in Madrid. Would be awesome with just adults too, or a couple, or as in our case, a family with young ones who are dying to learn how to cook! Thank you Maria and Jo (and our wonderful travel agent Melissa Warren based in Dallas, TX, for coordinating the whole thing!) Nora

So first off this is a flat out 10! Or probably more. This has by far been the best experience in Madrid and the absolutely best cooking course I’ve ever experienced. Maria, who is in charge (and she is) is a delight, a sweetheart and a outstanding chef. She is both very funny and very strict when it comes to preparing this amazing dish. She is in control of every step along the way for everyone to prepare your own Paella experience. The place is well equipped with all one needs to cook (I have some experience) and all you need is provided. We had the choice to make either a Paella Valenciana (the original), a vegan version or the sea food variety which we chose to make. And it was absolutely delicious! The program includes tapas, beer, wine and professional guidance. Giving you details about recipes would be a spoiler. We purchased all we need to repeat at home. I don’t know what else to say. But you can only win if you book this course. Wonderful! Muchas gracias Santa Maria Lindissima! El Suizo
