Located in the iconic building of Antonio Palacios that was headquarters of the Merchant and Industry Bank. The room is currently located under a huge paved vault and it maintains free exhibitions of contemporary art. It is committed with both young artists and fledged authors, and it is interested on the diversity of languages that characterized the current creation.

I didn't see the whole area, but it was so refreshing to get out of the train station, lots of people and a bit lost to then arrive to this little oasis. It was so so pretty and inspiriting.

This "art gallery" belongs to the Community of Madrid and it offers free exhibitions about modern art, about 4 a year. Big names (Brian Eno, Annie Leibovitz...) have had exhibitions here the last years, but other exhibitions equally are worth the visit. I cannot remember...More

The Sala Alcala 31 is owned by the Ayuntamiento of Madrid and there are always free art exhibits here. This is a service to visitors who enjoy art.
