King Fahad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Mosque. An Amazing Mosque in amazing location
Aug. 2021
Visit this amazing mosque last Friday. On Friday it opens around 13:30 and 14:00 they start recorded Sora-al- Kahaf with beautiful voice, 14:30 imam starts Sermon (Khuthba) and 15:00 exactly is Iqama (Actual Friday Prayer) time.
In normal days it opens 30min before and after each Prayer. it is best to find out prayer times in Gibraltar on google / payer time app etc.
It is beautifully decorated, very calm and peaceful environment. Every one is very helpful there.

There is place for ladies to pray as well.

Highly recommended.

The meaning of the gift of Saudi King Fahd.
Jan. 2020
Probably the sailors passing on ships through the strait of Gibraltar had a cognitive dissonance after 1997. On one side they saw mosques on the Moroccan coast, but turning the binoculars to the European side they saw the mosque again. The sailors probably had deja vu that they were going through the Bosphorus again. This is the meaning of the gift of Saudi King Fahd, although it is said this is the gift for 4% of the population of Gibraltar. i didn't see a single muslim near the mosque. They probably all arrive later...

A new mosque in Gibraltar ...
Apr. 2019
At one of the corners of "Europa Point" stands the "Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque", or the "Mosque of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques". Its construction was finished in 1997 and it was a gift from the late Saudi Arabia's King Fahd to the Muslim population of Gibraltar. It houses a school, a library and a lecture hall, which are not generally opened for visits. "The Rock of Gibraltar" is just at its backside! Amazing views, fond memories to take home. Enjoy!

Not much to say about it
Sep. 2019
We stopped here for the great photos of the two continents background, and the mosque is also in the background of our photos. A little strange in this setting, but no matter. Just something to comment on as most people do. It is an attractive building. That's it!

Mosque at Europa Point
Jan. 2020
A mosque is probably not something you’d expect to find in Gibraltar and to be honest, I wouldn’t have thought it had a large Muslim population. Anyway, it was completed in 1997 (at the time there was probably not much else in the area other than the lighthouse), funded by Saudi Arabian King Fahd at a cost then of around £5 million - how very hospitable of Gibraltar as see how far you get trying to build a Christian church in Saudi Arabia!! It’s closed to the general public unless on a pre arranged tour.

Beautiful Mosque, we were disappointed it wasn’t open to visitors. However just the view from outside was worth the visit.

This is built by the Saudi king. The mosque looks well maintained and big. When we went it was closed. You will not miss it on your rock tour.
