I visited Catalan bay back in January. I enjoyed a lovely and peaceful stroll along the lovely golden sands, breathing in the sea air. I really enjoyed watching the sea coming in and seeing the waves breaking onto the sea shore. I love how this...More

Fantastic views here. We visited on November 1st so it wasn't beach season but the beaches would probably be great in summer.

If you fancy a break from the hoards of main street, either walk round or get a bus and chill for a bit. Two places to eat (we had a very nice fish lunch) and a beach to enjoy.

Lovely little beach, normal amenities you would expect. Great for swimming or sun bathing. With direct access from the hotel we were staying at

The beach is a 5 minute bus ride from the market. There are changing rooms , toilets and cafes available and a swimming area with life guards.

Back to the centre and depending on the time of the day it should be about 6 pounds. The buses 4 and 8 are another option, both from the top of the hill near the beach. An all day ticket at 2,25 pounds is good value as you... More
