We went by no.8 bus and spent a few hours there. The beach is clean but couldn’t find where to get a brolly as it was really hot. Went to beach front bar prices very reasonable

We caught the bus to Sandy Bay and then walked back to Catalan Bay, where we stopped for lunch by the beach. It's a totally different vibe to the rest of Gibraltar - we enjoyed it. Then caught the bus back.

It is a short bus ride from the City Centre. Access down some steps from the bus stop. Alternatively there is a car park if you drive. Also has a bar and cafe offering refreshments.

Although this is not a very large beach, it is quiet and secluded being on the east coast. The shore is known as little genoa which is a small hamlet in an italian style. There are a few italian restaurants here plus a small chapel...More
