This was one of the stops on the cruise for cruisers tour. If you are on the tour, you will not have much time here. Perhaps 30 minutes. However, this is a big estate with a museum as well as gardens in the back. At the back, there is a lions head fountain. Rumor has it that if you drink... More

This old villa was one of the stops on our bus tour of Vigo during a cruise stop. It was interesting to see the preserved furniture and parts of the home. Part of the villa is a museum as well. It was free to visit, and the gardens outside were quite pretty to visit.

Personally, we considered these gardens to be the most beautiful experience in Vigo. Simply breathtaking and enchanting, reminiscent of a scaled down version of the famous Rothschild gardens overlooking the French Riviera. The miniature replica of the castle on thw duck pond is just adorable. And some of the trees are truly impressive (there is one with a hole naturally... More

Very pretty and surrounded by lovely gardens. Not a must but not very much to see in Vigo, so nice to stop by and view the place.

This is a bit of a trek from the city centre and is set in the Parque de Estrellos. The house itself is interesting and there is also a small archaeological museum attached with interesting artefacts disinterred from around the city of Vigo. The park is a pleasant place to walk and we were lucky because the sun was shining.... More

We only had 30 minutes here, but could have stayed to admire the house and gardens for much longer. Even my 13 year old daughter was impressed.

We stopped here as part of a bus tour and the gardens were gorgeous. Unfortunately the house was shut that day but I imagine it to be just as impressive as the outside.

he Pazo Quiñones de León museum was built in the late seventeenth century. It is one of the best examples of Galician palace architecture. Today it is a museum where we can find a living archeology; a living painting, with an important and extensive collection of Galician painting; a room dedicated to the decorative art of the period; a collection...
