Sing the Camino gave us 200kms of mostly peaceful, rural / natural landscapes on the delightful old pilgrim route through northern Portugal and Spain; a wonderful variety of simple then stupendous accommodation - carefully-chosen windows into local culture, food, Fado and dancing; great companionship of like-minded singing walkers and many absolutely special moments - singing in the fountain at the spa, the basement of the monastery and along the final stage into Santiago de Compostela's Cathedral square. Inspired, organised and delivered with love, care and skill by Jessie and Rafa, it was a fabulous cultural adventure and lots of fun. Many thanks Jessie !

Super well organised singing the Camino experience. A highlight was the musical insights and workshops held by Jessie and special local performances arranged for our group. The accomodation was amazing and included a variety of settings and scenery. Special mention to the palace and beautiful old convent and converted factory. Jessie and Rafa took good care of people if they were not well and communicated clearly about options for daily walking.
Big thank you to Jessie and Rafa.
Highly recommend Sing the Camino Portuguese!

When I saw the ads for this trip I was so excited - walking and singing - two of my favorite things. And I was not disappointed. The walking was wonderful with beautiful countryside and interesting towns and villages to walk through. The singing and entertainment were so much fun. The accommodation was behind my expectations.
Jessie's organization was superb, ably assisted by Rafa, who was so much more than our driver. They were flexible, caring, funny and looked after our group so well.
I would unreservedly recommend this trip to anyone who likes music and likes to walk.

Sing the Camino was a truly wonderful experience. We walked the Central Portuguese route which was delightful in so many ways. We were offered options to walk a full day, half day or have a rest day which was very important for me as I had been sick coming in to the tour. Jessie has developed a tour that offers fabulous places to stay; delicious food; memorable musical events and fabulous singing experiences. She is able to teach the songs quickly and has great song choice appropriate to the context. I loved how we never knew exactly what was going to be happening in terms of stays or events but it all unfolded beautifully. I felt very well held by both Jessie and Rafa our driver. And I got to meet some lovely people too! Thank you for one of the best travel experiences ever!

As a solo traveller, I approached this trip with much trepidation. But from the moment Jessie and Rafa arrived to greet me, I realised that I was going to be in very safe and considerate hands. They spent time briefing us carefully prior to each day’s walking highlighting what not to miss culturally, culinary and directionally.

As a notorious dawdler Rafa’s tracking and check-in systems meant I could rely on a lift home on a long walk even if there were days I didn't quite make it to the last meet-point in time.

In the evenings I could look forward to hidden away atmospheric accommodation that immersed us in the Portuguese and Galician countryside. The singing led by Jessie was inspirational, varied and invariably good-humoured despite the long hot days on the road.

I think about the Camino every single day since I completed it. It very much feels that reaching the destination was the start rather than the end of a process. I plan to return to it in a couple of years on another route in the company of Sing the Camino travellers.

Transformative, thoughtful, emotional and profound. The act of walking and singing in like-minded company was life-affirming and unforgettable.

Jessie‘s careful planning of this pilgrimage/ walking/ singing trip was evident from the first day - communication worked well, connections were punctual and effective and the trip went smoothly.

Jessie and Rafa took good care of each and everyone of us to ensure all levels of fitness and walking capacity were taken into consideration. Care was taken to ensure everyone arrived at the scheduled accommodation in plenty of time to enjoy what was on offer. Jessie organised delightful and comfortable accommodation and performances from singers and musicians which were treats, and enriched our understanding of where we were and what the Camino had to offer.

The countryside we walked through was beautiful and memorable - we loved the regional differences and changes, day to day in our Camino experience.

With Jessie’s assistance and encouragement we gathered our group together and sang our way into Santiago de Compostella, at the conclusion of our 10 day walking trip. It was a highlight of the trip and a very satisfying way to finish our Camino experience. Thank you Jessie.

Ocassionally you get the opportunity to embark on an experience which may be outside of ‘the box.’ Sing the Camino was such for me as I don’t usually travel in a group? Leave all the organisation up to someone I don’t know? Not know exactly where I will be accommodated? What will I eat? What if I get lost? Who will carry my bag? Walk 20km a day? Sing after that?

No need to worry folks because fabulous Jessie and great guide Rafa take care of all of that for you.

Well everything except the walking! Although you are given alternatives each day if 20km is too much - perhaps a rest day, maybe you only walk half, assistance to get a taxi to the end point? Your well researched track notes will help if you need a reference along the way.

At the end of a long day you are either transported to, or arrive at, fabulous (if not extraordinary) accommodation with time to ‘freshen up’ before being enthralled by a high class musical or cultural experience (4 in total), fun learning new songs with the highly creative Jessie, followed by your ‘Land of Tomorrow’ chat from Rafa, then a sumptuous meal and plentiful vino (if that’s your thing).

On every front I highly commend Sing the Camino. Jessie has curated a fabulous package of entertainment, singing, accommodation, food and wine! For a greatly enhanced Camino experience this is the one!

This is a unique and amazing experience. Jessie has curated a trip that ticks so many boxes - you get to walk the Camino thru farmland, forests and villages knowing that the lovely Rafa will pick you up at the end, take you to great accommodation (sometimes mind blowing heritage manors or monasteries) and that you’ll sit down to excellent dinners and wine. (Note: you will not lose weight on this walk.) AND at regular points throughout the trip Jessie brings in incredible local musicians and dancers. These events were an absolute treat for me, often moving and intimate performances. But THEN, you also have the gift of Jessie’s fabulous talents as a choir director, and we sang together most evenings. Being a bit of a nerd I would have liked more focus on locking those tunes and harmonies in more solidly but hey, there are only so many hours in a Camino day!! Plus, you do get the music to take home. Thanks for an unforgettable holiday Jessie and Rafa. Even some Galician rain could not take the shine off this trip. Hasta la próxima!

A unique way to walk the Camino! A highly organised and stressless experience! Accommodation, meals and local entertainment at night were all above expectations. Singing as a group, after the day’s walk before dinner, was a stimulating and enjoyable experience and a relaxing way to prepare for the next day’s walk.

I knew I’d enjoy walking through Portugal and Spain. I even knew to expect wonderful song leading from Jessie. What I didn’t expect was the incredible local musicians that Jessie curated for our itinerary. It really made for a special trip, along with beautiful places to stay and heart warming food, wine, and company.
