The most important feature of this Romanesque building are the richly decorated corbels in the upstairs dinning room. The scenes on the corbels represent a medieval banquet.

We were able to prebook a rooftop tour in English which took us on to the roof of the catherdral and inside the upper gallery. It was excellent. If you buy tickets for this you can get a discount on Museum entry.

The Gelmirez Palace is today only a part of the Cathedral Museum, though having its own entrance at the Cathedral Square. Therefore you buy a combined ticket for several attractions, and the other ones are frankly speaking more interesting. The palace today is just a...More
