This is a beautiful beach in the city centre. It has a great promenade where you can walk/run/cycle for a few kilometres. You can have it all to yourself early in the morning. Great views all around the bay from here.

This is a fantastic sweep of town beach and the (course)sand is kept beautifully clean with early morning sweeping/raking, but we were perturbed by the slicks of pollution visible close to shore - and no visible evidence of anything being done about this (?) which...More

The best place to swim is round to the left as you look at the beach from the Hotel Riazor. Here you can sit on the rocks and the sand is softer and kind to the feet. Also at high tide the water is clear...More

The beach is great, long, clean and accessible. You have to experience the sunset here, if possible around the summer solstice... It is just amazing to be in town and look at the sun going down beyond the Atlantic...

Attractive city beach with soft white sand. Excellent promenade walk around the expansive bay. Pity there are not more attractions and more bars, cafes and restaurants on the promenade - there are a few at the Riazor end but otherwise they are mostly tucked away...More

Beautiful beach with a rough sea almost all of the time. This is just in front of Deportivo's Rizaor Stadium. Nice to walk the beach from one side to the other.

Playa de Riazor is long, clean and beautiful beach. Sorround it of plenty of restaurants and bars. Excellent playa to enjoy even for a walk.

For me is always a pleasure to meet the sea. But now I meet the Ocean. Atlantic Ocean. Is a magic moment. And the moment is even greater because of the large and clean beach. Nice sand Fine, almost white. You can stand there for...More

Stopped here on a cruise. Had no idea such a lovely beach was available so close to the cruise terminal. 10 min walk through the main shopping street . Beautiful sand , clear water , large expanse of beach with no one on it !!!
