Attractive city beach with soft white sand. Excellent promenade walk around the expansive bay. Pity there are not more attractions and more bars, cafes and restaurants on the promenade - there are a few at the Riazor end but otherwise they are mostly tucked away...More

We were there in October so we didn't go for a swim. Parts of the beach is rocky but other parts was good enough to swim.

Located right in the Centre of La Coruna this beach is brilliant. A long stretch of white sand nestled again the Atlantic! We went a few times on our recent stay and we were fortunate with the weather for this time of year as it...More

Big waves..... sandy walks... a great experience on the Atlantic Coast. Surely we'll visit again! Riazor stadium is a good attraction and the cafés on the beach offer spectacular views.

Wonderful beach, located in a bay. It's the main place to enjoy the sea. If you have the opportunity you should go in a night of San Juan. The beach is full of people to celebrate the local festivities.

This is a beautiful beach in the city centre. It has a great promenade where you can walk/run/cycle for a few kilometres. You can have it all to yourself early in the morning. Great views all around the bay from here.

This is a fantastic sweep of town beach and the (course)sand is kept beautifully clean with early morning sweeping/raking, but we were perturbed by the slicks of pollution visible close to shore - and no visible evidence of anything being done about this (?) which...More

The best place to swim is round to the left as you look at the beach from the Hotel Riazor. Here you can sit on the rocks and the sand is softer and kind to the feet. Also at high tide the water is clear...More

The beach is great, long, clean and accessible. You have to experience the sunset here, if possible around the summer solstice... It is just amazing to be in town and look at the sun going down beyond the Atlantic...
