The avenue leads into the marina and wraps around as a lead-up to Old town. Along the way, the views of gleaming white metal and glass multi-floor buildings line the pedestrian friendly promenade. Here in the marina, the children's playground made this feel so family-oriented....More

All along this harbour side road the facades of the buildings consist of white painted wood and glass windows facing out to sea. It’s dazzling. Some houses have lovely art nouveau features as well, with some particularly nice ceramic tiles. Ironically, these are the backs...More

Not very sparkling, glamorous, but interesting to see a waterfront, cafes waking up, with locals sipping coffee . People weren't smiling, but it was early. This place is a slice of a Northern Spanish harbour, with a long history, not wealthy, but interesting to walk...More

One of the landmarks of the city. The glass facades are very distinctive and quite unique to my knowledge. A nice walk. There is a taxi parking in front of the houses near plaza Maria Pita.

Love this crescent shaped Atlantic Beach aka A Coruña. And what’s not to love? It’s got a swagger all it’s own. Though there may be quicker ways to get to the Old City this Avenida reminds us while it’s all here to begin with. Watching...More

So this street runs someone in front of the historic district. It is wide open area with some playgrounds for kids and is also next to a Marina. Which would seem obvious. You may well wander down it if you are going through the historic...More

This is a great place along the harbour area to walk or to relax in a cafe. It follows the typical architecture style of the rest of the older part of the town. Lovely to visit in the evening.

This place is known for it’s specific buildings with glass covered balconies. The Marina itself is also nice to see. Are the buildings nice? Depends on your taste, but it’s nice to see and as said: did not see this in such a number before.
