Happened to pass through and whilst I took a few photographs, it wouldn't be worth going out of your way.

A nice spot to sit out and enjoy a coffee or lunch. Not as impressive as other squares in Europe but worth stopping here before a wander around the old town

This place is essential to know the old town center. Very accessible by car, we can park underneath the Plaza. Normally in Spain this places are known as Plaza Mayor.

This is a very attractive plaza in the town centre. It is made up of impressive public buildings hotels and bar/restaurants. Parts are under cover if it rains and there is an underground car park. Short walk from the port.

The square is an open space where you can relax, have a coffee and enjoy peace. The city hall is beautiful is Maria Pita's sculpture shows the spirit of the city, proud and strong. Apart from this, is surrounded with a lot of places to eat and is not far away from the sea. If in the city you should... More

The Plaza de Maria Pita is just behind the buildings which face the harbour near the Old Town. Close by are various attractions including many restaurants at all prices, good shopping, the star if the English Camino to Santiago de Compostela, the Military Museum, theatres, and the tomb of Sir John Moore, the British hero in the Napoleonic wars.

Impressive large plaza just inland from the seafront. We were there early in the morning and not much was happening but there were a number of restaurants located around the periphery which would make the plaza more lively later in the day I assume
