One afternoon, I wanted to have some coffee and pastries while working. I went here when it started to rain. I sat down. A blonde woman approached me and said that the seating was private space. I kept trying to tell her that I wanted to eat and have coffee. We went back and forth like this several times before she left me alone. Why did she treat me that way? Apart from looking a bit wet from the rain, maybe it was because I was Asian? That was a Very Nasty experience. I will never eat here nor recommend this place to my friends.

Loved our stay at this hotel! Great room on the second floor. Restaurant on site very good. Most of staff does not speak English. Had to point to menu for them to know what to order. Great free breakfast each morning! Loved the location in Old Tarragona. Great market with fresh fruit and vegetables down the street. Short walk to hop on hop off train (a must do!) and Ampitheater. Great free internet also! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again! Loved Tarragona!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Plaça del la font. The hotel is excellently situated in the heart of the old town. It is a small hotel with very warm and helpful staff. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony opened onto the main square where there were many bars and restaurants. You could hear and feel the buzz of the place only when the doors were open. Walking around the town there is so much to see and experience. It’s a fantastic place for a short break an hour by bus from Barcelona el prat. Great value for money. Will definitely book there again!

Not much to add to my headline. You will almost certainly cross it if you walk from Rambla Nova to the old city. Nice for a snack or drink

Sitting on a square which is built above an underground car park. Once you find the square entrance to parking is easy and OK for big cars. A lift brings you up to the square a few feet from the hotel entrance. A nice room but no soap and the shampoo useless. The included breakfast was small and not really sufficient. However the joy is the town and in particular the hotel square full of restaurants and people.

Spent most evenings here trying the different restaurants.
We were lucky to see the Castellers performance in front of the town hall. What a treat to see, they are all so brave especially the little ones who go to the top. We were so lucky to have seen this spectacle.

This square has such a buzz about it. Everyone mixes and gets on well. There are couples on dates, groups partying, kids playing, and old folks chatting. Hard to explain how lovely it is. It's so harmonious. I spend a lot of time here when I visit, just taking everything in, enjoying good food and drink, and it is always a highlight. I have so many happy memories here.

We were staying overnight in Tarragona and stumbled across this square by accident. As well as being a fine collection of buildings around a lovely open space, it offers a wide range of bars and restaurants, of which we sampled two. This makes it sound like a bit of a tourist trap, but our experience was that virtually everyone eating and drinking was local (or at least Spanish). A great place to spend an evening people watching.

It is one of the best place in Tarragona, for breakfast, dinner, lunch. Many restaurants with high level of food quality.

The Placa De La Font is typical of this type of square in many European cities, it is a long rectangular square flanked by many restaurant establishments, the main feature being the Town Hall building at the far end, it is an OK place to have a wander about and do the usual sightseeing things, at the opposite end to the town hall and to the right, look for a street with steps down, in here you will find a house gable end that has some wonderful graffiti, this place is worth looking for

Can only see rooms for 1 person even when the room has 2 beds. The next is for a triple. Does anyone have an email address for the hotel?
