I cycled by Lake Banyoles several times during a 10-day visit to the area. There are several restaurants along the lake with beautiful views and outdoor dining. Also a very nice walking/running pathway around the lake. Water is very clear.

It is a lake of about 2 cm, it is advisable to visit with good weather and to take a walk. It is located about 35 km from the city of Girona.
