The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place its amazing. In the Center of the city but in a quiet point. The selection of wine its excellent. The wines are almost all from Catalonia and also have a delicious Olive oil for taste before to buy.

If you want take a glass of wine, buy or enjoy tapas and wine in a discret place in the Center, this its the point :)

We read about this wine shop on trip adviser and it was across the street from our hotel. The owner is your bartender and he ask you what kind of wines you like, and what you like about them. He then pours you what he thinks is the right selection... In our case, all of his selections were right on the spot. We ended up buying all the wines he suggested. Really good price, terrific wine and olio. Open till 9pm.

Set in the very center of Gothic neighbourhood in Barcelona, this is a truly authentic ambient wine shop that offers regularly-changing selection of Spanish wine and oils from small local and artisan producers, in particular Catalan ones, ecologically produced in the same region at a distance of no more of 100 kms. It regularly runs wine tasting, paired sometimes with different food, so that a perfect combination of flavours and quality is offered together with a sip of art and music. The visit is a must, especially knowing that the shop is an award-winner for offering a very unique service in the area and for the serviceable and joyful staff.
