This was one of the best bits of our holiday. I bought 2 vouchers from Living Social for the electric bike tour, as it was inexpensive and seemed like a more exciting tour. From the moment I first contacted the company to the moment we finished the tour I was thoroughly impressed with the high level of customer service. We... More

We did this tour after getting a cheap deal on living social. Going round on an electric bike is extremely enjoyable in itself. The guy Alberto was very friendly and knew a lot about the area. He was keen to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. We chose to go up Mont Juic which was a good tour and being on... More

We used a Livingsocial deal and were so glad that we took up the offer. This was a great way to start our trip to Barcelona, getting orientated whilst discovering the city in a very fun manner. Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
