It's my 3rd & last time visiting this city. I would advise everyone to be careful because the number of thefts is increasing dramatically, I parked my car in la Rambla for 5 minutes to go upstairs and check my Airbnb apartment, and when I came back the glass was broken and they stole everything. Passports, watches, laptops, 4 big bags and when I called the police they said this is normal in Barcelona we can't come to you because we are busy with other stabbing cases and we don't have enough police cars, you come to the station for the police report and that's it & we can't take the fingerprints because it's not a murder you only lost a couple of thousands of euros. Why I'm advising everyone to be careful because when I returned my car to the rental company they said that I'm the 6th car being returned from Barcelona with a broken window and when I visited the station I saw more than a group of tourists complaining of thefts in Barcelona. Thanks all and stay safe

Beautiful beach with restaurants and food stands around. Part of the beach is accessible but the accessible part isn't open everyday so make sure to check the opening times. There is a staff ready to assist you if help is needed

The neighborhood itself is very nice, the beach is about average. I do not recommend staying very long at the Barceloneta Beach. It's filled with people, trash, people ready to steal your things, and people will not leave to sell drinks. You won't relax, it's too loud, and even the water near the shore is covered in trash. There are toilets, an open shower, and I think a changing area which is nice.

You can stay there whole day! From morning run, through lunch with a sea view to late night parties in one of many clubs! Worth visiting!

We came early in the morning and it was really peaceful. We were able to see the sunrise and it was beautiful! I think early morning is the best time to go there if you hate crowds. A must-see!

We took the bus #59 on La Rambla to get there. I recommend getting off the bus near last stop to avoid the crowds. You get to have a nice and peaceful walk and no need to rush to take photos.
There are various kinds of nice restaurants at the end of the beach with more reasonable prices.
